Thank you for using Zippex! This Privacy Policy governs the use of the Zippex  Technologies Services, including any websites, mobile applications, devices, or artificial intelligence (“AI”) powered, generated experiences that are operated by Zippex or its affiliates and partners (collectively, the “Services”, “Website”, “App”) by Users, Customers and third party Service Providers (“You”, “Your”) and applicable to Zippex Technologies Inc., a corporation incorporated under the Business Corporations Act, and its employees, subsidiaries and affiliates (“Zippex”, “Us”, “We”, “Our” “Party”). This Agreement also applies to vendors who access the software platform (hereinafter ‘Services’) provided by Zippex. You and Us may be referred to as ‘Party’ or ‘Parties’.

  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION

“Personal information” is a broadly defined term that includes any information that is reasonably capable of identifying a particular individual or any private information which is linked to the individual’s identity whether in whole or in part, either alone or when combined with information from other available sources. Personal information includes name, residential address, identity or nationality documents, tax or other legal documents which are not present in any public domain,  employee personal information. It does not include business contact information.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  1. User Provided Information:

    1. Personally Identifiable Information: Your Contact information upon creation of Your profile on the Zippex Portal such as Your contact details, name, telephone number and email address (“Personal Identifiers”). 

    2. Account information: When you set up a Zippex account, we collect your username and password, and other relevant information we request. 

    3. Order information: If you place an order or Delivery-on-Request Service, We collect information relating to Your pick-up and delivery address, the date and time of the order, the items you ordered and any special instructions.


  2. Third Party Provided Information:


    1. Personally Identifiable Information: Your Contact information upon creation of Your profile on the Zippex Portal such as Your contact details, name, telephone number and email address.

    2. Account information: Upon setting up Your Zippex account, We collect your username and password, Drivers’ vehicle number, SIN number, vehicle insurance documents.

    3. Identity verification documents and photos: This includes government issued identification such as driver’s licence or passports (which may contain identification photos and numbers, date of birth, and gender), and user-submitted photos such as selfies and profile pictures.

    4. Vehicle Related Information: licence, insurance papers (only for proof of valid insurance for motor-vehicles as applicable), existing and prior addresses.

    5. Business Related Information: Upon setting up a Zippex Merchant Account We collect Your business registration related information, documents, inventory, photos and other relevant information which is required for the purpose of the setting up of the Merchant Account.


  3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND STORED FOR RECORD OF SERVICE


    1. Payment Information: If you place an order through the Services, we collect your billing address and method of payment. 

    2. Communications: We keep a record of conversations between You and Delivery Personnel. We also keep a record of all instructions that You may have provided on the Zippex Portal for the Delivery of Your Item for the purpose of resolution of disputes if any. 

    3. Communications with Customer Service: We keep a record of communications between You and the Customer Service.

    4. Information relating to complaints and disputes: We also keep a record of all complaints and disputes that You submit to Us for the full and final resolution and retain such information until the final disposal of the matter in the Court of Law, if applicable.

  1. INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECT


  1. Device Related Information: Our servers will record information about the device You use to connect to the Services and data relating to Your usage of the Services which includes Your device’s IP address, Your device type, browser type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

  2. Website/App Usage Related Information: We also collect Website/App related including but not limited to time, the amount of time spent on the Website/App, services availed, Items browsed, pages visited and related activity on the App, marketing clicks and web pages visited. We collect such information to know what Our Customers want and provide You a better service and where Our Customers face problems and improve Our performance.  However Your personal Identifiers are not attached to it, Your activity is monitored with Your Customer Id attached to such information. 

  3. Location Information: When You access Zippex Portal We collect Your approximate location temporarily. Once You book the Services available through Our Website, and provide Your address, We collect Your address and the delivery address as well. This information is kept in Our system for a period of 1 year, for the purpose of internal analysis of delivery information, Third Party Service Provider performance and locations reached. In case You need a detailed report of any Service You availed or provided through Our Website, it would be available on Your User/Driver/Merchant Portal. 

  4. Cookies, and other technical tracking systems and processes: We collect cookies to provide You more engaging experience 

  1. PAYMENT PROCESSORS AND PARTNERS

When You use the Services through our Website/App and You pay using a debit/credit card or other payment method, your card or other payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment gateway Service Providers. We may receive limited information about your payment card from our payment processors, such as the last 4 digits of your card number and its expiration month and year.

  1. INFORMATION USE

Your personal Information is collected for the following purposes:  

  1. Improve Your experience with the website/App, and manage the Services efficiently. We collect the information to assist You in the best possible way, and to give you a smooth operating system.

  2. Process and keep a track of Your transactions, when You avail the Services available through Our Website/App to make sure You receive the Services You paid for. 

  3. To monitor activities in the App and make sure the App is free from bugs and unauthorised interference, maintain security and prevent fraud. We keep a track of activities and make sure it is a genuine and not a fraudulent transaction. We keep the necessary information to identify if any unauthorised activity has been happening through Your Account due to third party interference. 

  4. To assist in Your legal obligations and compliances. We use Your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to legal process, and/or respond to requests and comply and communicate with the law enforcement authorities or other government officials when required. 

  5. To keep a track of and identify disputes and claims and assist you in settling them as and when You approach us.

  6. To provide customer support to You. To provide and help You to the best of Our capabilities, We need Your personal Information so that We can make sure We cater to Your specific needs.

  7. To facilitate marketing and advertising activities on the Website/App. We use Your activity on the App to gain consumer behavioural trends and patterns to optimise Our Services and Potential.  

  8. We do not share or otherwise deal in Personal Information in any way apart from facilitating provision of various Services through Our App.

  9. Interaction with Zippex and Delivery Personnel: When You generate Request-for-Delivery, the communications You have with the Delivery Personnel over calling feature of Our App, is recorded for quality, training, and security purposes. This record of conversation acts as a safeguard for future disputes if any and serves as an evidence of any harassment or unauthorised communications.

  1. REQUEST TO DELETE OR RETAIN INFORMATION


  1. You may email us at Info@zippex.app to delete Your Personal Information. 

  2. In case of disputes, You can send Us an email requesting retention of details for more than a year. However we shall not release Your Personal Information unless We receive an Order of the Court of Law. 

  1. UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION

You can review, correct, or update your information on Your Account (including Your name, telephone number, delivery address, and payment information). Once You update the information it may take up to 24 hrs to be updated.

  1. EXERCISE YOUR MARKETING CHOICES

When You sign up with Us, You may receive marketing and promotional emails, push notifications and/or text messages to your mobile device, however, You may choose not to sign up for the marketing emails. The transactional messages, or Service related messages You shall continue to receive as and when You use the Services You avail through Our App.

  1. INFORMATION SECURITY

We maintain reasonable technical measures to safeguard and protect Personal Information. We employ standard administrative, personal information control measures to protect information from unauthorised access, use, and disclosure. We make sure that Your personal information sharing is limited to Zippex Service Providers and Merchants, payment gateway partners and server service providers, with information as necessary and required to be shared in the respective domains for facilitating the varied Services provided through the App.
